Notizie dallo Iasp :
An important multinational company is looking for technology solutions related to the detection of food borne pathogens in food products (typically, listeria, salmonella, E-coli and monocytogenes). As a first step, we need to perform an initial scan of our network to identify where the focus of a next stage of the exercise should be. To help you further focus your scan, the following technology areas are likely to be of most interest: Biosensors & biochips, Microarray technologies, Imaging technologies, Flow-Cytometry approaches, Rapid chromatographic technologies, Molecular approaches.
We have been in touch with this multinational for a while and we know that this could lead to real business opportunities so we want to make sure that you are informed about this. This is a preliminary enquiry and the only thing we would like to know from you at the moment is if you happen to know of companies or research centres that may be working in this field. Once we collect this information, those members that may have companies working with these technologies will be contacted again with more details. For any information or queries, please do not hesitate to contact us: email@example.com
The Iasp European Division President, Iztok Lesjak, has called our attention to a report from the European Economic and Social Committee that discusses how European STPs can help and act during and after times of crisis. The report is important and positive for our industry and proposes to enhance the STP movement around Europe. The proposal outlined in this report coincides very much with the IASP thoughts about our future. Under the leadership of our European President and for the benefit of our members we will try to raise the IASP profile at the European Economic and Social Committee and make sure that they realise that there is a European network of STPs already and that it is us that they should count on.
